Richard moved to Paris after graduating with a BA Hons degree in 2008. His debut picture book When it Snows was shortlisted for the V&A Best Illustrated Book Award and nominated for the Kate Greenaway medal. His follow up picture book

Lionheart and his illustrations for Blackberry Blue were shortlisted for the UKLA Book Award and also nominated for the Kate Greenaway.

Since he was young, Richard has always believed that anyone can draw. Now that he does illustration for a job he has taken it upon himself to show everyone that is the case!

He has been to different schools around the UK, as well as international schools outside of the Uk to do various events.

At the moment the courses are concentrated on little people between the ages of 5-10, but there are several other courses in the works that will cover all ages and skill levels.
